Shanghai Hangfu Launches Solar-Powered Passenger Steps and Towable Belt Loaders, Perfectly Matching Low-Cost Carrier Needs

Shanghai Hangfu Launches Solar-Powered Passenger Steps and Towable Belt Loaders, Perfectly Matching Low-Cost Carrier Needs

In response to low-cost carriers' high sensitivity to upfront and operating costs, Shanghai Hangfu recently launched two innovative products: solar/towable passenger steps (suitable for narrow-body aircraft) and towable belt loaders. The passenger steps can be powered by solar energy or towing, eliminating the need for an independent power system and significantly reducing procurement and maintenance costs. The towable belt loader operates without its own power unit, offering a cost-effective loading/unloading solution for low-cost carriers and small to medium-sized airports. Shanghai Hangfu stated that it will continue to address customer needs through modular designs that help optimize total lifecycle costs.
